Bettina Blanchard is a woman on a mission. She wants people to love where they live. Her vision: create the space and time in life to get the most pleasure out of every day. Her motto: be organized to live, don’t live to be organized.
Bettina’s been at this for years. She started helping her older brother “pick up” his room when she was ten. She’s been organizing, cleaning and staging up a storm ever since. In 2002, she made it her business and founded All in Place Organizing Services. Twelve years later, All in Place expanded to become Bettina & Company.
While action and progress are her trademarks, nothing trumps Bettina’s love of people. Clients and friends alike know they have someone on their side who has a positive outlook and passion for life.
Just a few minutes in Bettina’s company is enough to know you’ve met a catalyst who inspires action. “This is a difficult process for many people,” She says. “In order to minimize the angst, I bring reinforcements. My team makes a huge difference. I stay focused on helping our clients make decisions and my staff members do the legwork.” As a result of this dedication, both sellers and realtors value the talents and the energy of Bettina & Company.
“But wait,” she says. “We also love to help people who are not moving. There’s a lot that can be done to make any imperfect home lovable.” Her formula is simple. First figure out what you need and love. Next, because you can, clean it like you mean it. Finally, arrange the space so it works for how you live.
Bettina’s big vision inspired her to take to the information highway. In 2011 she started writing Life Simplified, a weekly newsletter on the benefits of living a great life. And since life is about so much more than stuff, Bettina added A Daily Dose of Life Simplified to help her readers start every day with a positive mind-set.
Business owner and writer, she thought, “why not be a radio show host, too?” Life Simplified Radio debuted in February 2015 on WMPG. Bettina and her guests explore attitudes, values and strategies for enjoying life, simplified. She has also been a guest on Shaken and Stirred on WMPG, Maine Calling on Maine public radio and been featured on Mind Your Own Business Radio and At Home with Marc and Lori on WLOB.
In a word, Bettina walks her talk. She organizes herself and others so everyone can have more fun. Her fun includes life with her beloved spouse, son and dear ones. She keeps them entertained playing her button accordion and they tolerate her foolishness.
